Since 2002 Imavis is on the italian market with the digital video-surveillance product ICSVision,
available in 4, 8, 12, and 16 video inputs. Different transmission means may be used: PSTN telephone line,
ISDN, ADSL, local area network (LAN).

In 2003 Imavis was the first company in Italy to develop a software tool able to visualize video shots from the
video-surveillance system directly on the mobile phone --- an innovative technology at the time, of great interest
on the TVCC market.

ICSVision is a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) easy to install, configure, and intuitive to use.

Hybrid system: analog and IP cameras

ICSVision is a hybrid system able to handle two types of video streams: PAL signal from analog cameras,
and digital signal from IP cameras. The different video streams are processed by the system in a transparent way.

ICSVision is the right system to design video-surveillance plants with different cameras, to satisfy
all the clients needs.

Video-surveillance on the mobile phone

With ICSVision in each time the user can access his cameras directly with his mobile phone or palmtop (GPRS and
UMTS).

Digital video-recording

ICSVision is equipped with a digital video-recording functionality on a 160GB hard-drive, in two modes --
continuous recording and recording triggered by motion detection, accorting to a configured time schedule.

Video-sequences are stored on the hard drive after an MPEG4 encoding, so to optimize the space requirements.

Alarm via e-mail or SMS

The alarm notification with ICSVision may occur via SMS or e-mail.

The system is equipped with a motion detection algorithm that detects motion in the monitored area
and sends an alarm, attaching an appropriate snapshot to describe the event.

Moreover, ICSVision may receive signals from other alarm systems (via a GPIO card)
and send their notifications to the user

Web transmitter

The ICSVision web transmitter permits to visualize the video-sequences on all the web browsers
(Explorer, Mozilla, ...) without the need to install any software on the monitoring terminal.

DynamiC DNS Service

Thanks to the DDNS service, the user may reach at any time the video-surveillance camera, even
when the connection relies on a dynamic IP.

Linux

ICSVision is linux-based therefore it guarantees an optimal level of reliability and stability of the system.

Multilevel users

ICSVision allows for four different user configurations and thus it guarantess a protected access based
on the user permits.

The administrator may configure the system in all its parts, even through a remote connection.
