IMALeft is able to alert the attention of the operator only when the situation is potentially dangerous and might be missed due to the complexity of the monitored area or due to the high number of cameras to monitor.
IMALeft is a videocontrol system that allows to automatically highlight static changes in the scene (eg. object removed or abandoned) whithin crowded areas or public zones in need of a careful videosurveillance (eg. railway stations and airports).
The system ignores person or object movements because they represent short variations of the scene compared to the reference image.
