Progetto Centostazioni per le stazioni di Arezzo e Prato (Project A-hundred-stations for Prato and Arezzo Railway Stations). Design and development of a monitoring system to detect abandoned objects and to count people crossing entrances and gateways.
Progetto Trentino Trasporti. A monitoring system for abandoned object detection and crowd detection is under development and will be installed in various Trentino Trasporti Stations.

Technology transfer and innovation
Distef Project
- DISTEF vision is the integration of advanced research in nanotechnologies,
computer vision and image classification, within the mechanical technology of
pharmaceutical packaging. The objective of the project is to design a new passive device, to be used as a
label, able to record the heat exposure time of a product. The device will be
integrated both on the external packaging and on the internal blister in order
to record the thermal history of the product, with particular interest to the heat
values above a given threshold. The project partners are:

- IMAVIS is a member of SIIT Technology District (Genova, Italy), and participates to the initiatives organized by “Parco Scientifico Tecnologico della
Liguria" (Ligurian Scientific and Technological Park) whose objectives are promoting, coordinating and fulfilling research, innovation and technological tranfer activities within the local territori.
IMAVIS participates to 4 innovation projects:
- A facial biometric recognition system
- A system for monitoring dangerous behaviours
- An integrated video-surveillance system based on mobile robots, a still infrastructure and
wearable devices
- A management and control system for monitoring trafic and parking areas in urban centers
