The growing number of cameras used for video-surveillance and video-monitoring produced the need of advanced software able to filter meaningful events out of a huge amount of redundant or meaningless video information. Considering the information potentially available, today is even more important to detect real alarms, while limiting the number of false alarms.

To this purpose, IMAVIS develops the ImAnalysis suite, a software product containing advanced video analysis algorithms allowing for automatic camera monitoring and maintainance, and alarms rationalization.
